About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support server patching, remediation, and compliance initiatives. This role is crucial for maintaining system compliance and addressing vulnerabilities across Windows and Linux servers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deploy patches across Windows and Linux servers.
- Partner with infrastructure and InfoSec teams to address vulnerabilities and maintain system compliance.
- Utilize SCCM for monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc OS/application patching and deployments via Software Center.
- Troubleshoot Windows patching and update-related issues.
- Perform in-place OS upgrades.
- Work with InfoSec teams to remediate vulnerabilities and missing patches.
- Administer Linux servers and implement patching methodologies.
- Utilize Azure Arc for onboarding on-premises servers for cloud-based patch management.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell.
- Strong hands-on experience with SCCM and patch management.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows patching and update-related issues.
- Proficiency in performing in-place OS upgrades.
- Experience in collaborating with InfoSec teams for vulnerability remediation.
- Working knowledge of Linux server administration and patching.
- Experience with Azure Arc and cloud-based patch management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
