Job description

Salary Range: $82,000–$100,000

Are you looking for more than a traditional clinical role? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Therapist to lead the development of a growing orthopedic and regenerative rehabilitation program while maintaining the autonomy to provide exceptional, patient-centered care.

This is a unique opportunity to join a privately owned, patient-focused practice that prioritizes quality over quantity. Our cash-based model allows clinicians to spend meaningful one-on-one time with patients, focusing on outcomes instead of insurance limitations. If you're passionate about orthopedics, enjoy working with active individuals, and are excited about building a specialty program from the ground up, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the development and growth of the orthopedic and regenerative rehabilitation service line.
  • Evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based orthopedic rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and return-to-activity programming.
  • Develop clinical protocols and best practices for regenerative therapies, including shockwave therapy, while supporting future program expansion.
  • Collaborate with providers and mentor support staff to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.
  • Build relationships within the community through educational presentations, networking, and referral development.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical documentation with minimal administrative burden.
Why You'll Love This Opportunity
  • True one-on-one patient care with an average caseload of just 7–8 patients per day.
  • Cash-based practice that allows you to focus on clinical excellence rather than insurance requirements.
  • Opportunity to build and lead a specialized orthopedic and regenerative rehabilitation program.
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment that values mentorship, innovation, and professional development.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities tied to practice growth and patient retention.
  • Flexible full-time schedule designed to support a healthy work-life balance.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong background in orthopedic physical therapy with a passion for helping active adults return to the activities they love.
  • Interest in taking ownership of a growing specialty program and making a lasting impact.
  • Enthusiasm for regenerative rehabilitation techniques and emerging treatment technologies.
  • Leadership mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and delivering exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • Current Iowa Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience treating orthopedic conditions with confidence in return-to-activity and/or return-to-sport rehabilitation.
Schedule
  • Full-time preferred (4–5 days per week).
  • Flexible scheduling available for the right candidate.
  • Occasional evening or weekend community events for outreach and educational programming.
Join Our Team

If you're looking for an opportunity to practice at the highest level, develop a specialty program, and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives, we'd love to connect with you. Join a practice where innovation, autonomy, and exceptional patient care come first.
