Senior Audit & Assurance Accountant / Manager

Talent Group is partnering with a respected public accounting firm in California's Central Valley to identify a Senior Audit & Assurance Accountant or Audit & Assurance Manager. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced public accounting professional who enjoys leading client engagements, mentoring staff, and building strong client relationships.


What You'll Do

  • Lead audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
  • Review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and professional auditing standards.
  • Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and provide meaningful recommendations to clients.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members.
  • Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and communicate audit findings professionally.
  • Stay current on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in business development and contribute to firm growth.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA license preferred (or actively pursuing CPA licensure).
  • Previous public accounting experience in audit and assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
  • Experience managing multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with audit software, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting technologies.
  • Experience working with agribusiness, construction, real estate, or closely held businesses is a plus.
