About the Opportunity

Talent Connect Executive Search & HR Solutions is recruiting a compassionate and skilled General Dentist on behalf of a growing healthcare organization committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who enjoys working with diverse patient populations and is passionate about improving oral health outcomes through preventive, restorative, and comprehensive dental care.

Position Summary

The General Dentist will provide a full range of general dentistry services, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, preventive care, restorative procedures, and patient education. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, patient-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional care in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Provide preventive dental services, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
  • Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures
  • Conduct root canals, extractions, and other general dental procedures within scope of practice
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and clinical support staff
  • Refer patients to specialists when appropriate
  • Support a positive patient experience through compassionate and professional care
Required Qualifications
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school
  • Active California Dental License in good standing
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • DEA registration (if applicable)
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in general dentistry
  • Experience using digital radiography and dental practice management software
  • Knowledge of cosmetic and advanced restorative procedures
  • Experience working in community health, outpatient, or multi-site clinic settings
  • Strong patient-centered approach to care
