Tailor-Made Smiles - Dental Hygienist

Are you a skilled Dental Hygienist looking for a practice that prioritizes quality over quantity? Tailor-Made Smiles is a small, family-oriented general dentistry practice in Rutherford, NJ, looking for a dedicated professional to join our close-knit team this April. Working alongside a female general dentist and a supportive staff, you will provide exceptional care to an adult-focused patient base in a modern, friendly environment.

Job Description

Patient Care: Perform thorough prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and comprehensive periodontal treatments.
Diagnostics: Conduct oral cancer screenings and utilize state-of-the-art technology, including digital radiography and the iTero LUMINA for wellness scans.
Clinical Tasks: Administer local anesthesia and perform Arestin placement as needed.
Patient Education: Empower patients through education on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and the long-term benefits of consistent dental care.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, paperless patient records using Eaglesoft.

Salary Range

Full-time $56 - $60 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Total Hours: 32–36 hours per week.
Weekly Breakdown:
Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Saturday: Alternate Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Lunch: One-hour lunch breaks provided on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Requirements
  • Eaglesoft
  • Licensed dental hygienist
  • iTero

License: NJ Licensed Registered Dental Hygienist and NJ Local Anesthesia License.
Experience: Minimum of one year of dental hygiene experience.
Specialized Skills: Proficiency in Local Anesthesia, iTero scanning, and Arestin placement.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar paperless charting software is preferred.
Professionalism: A dedication to high-quality clinical care and a supportive, team-player attitude.
Safety Minded: Commitment to using provided PPE to maintain a safe environment.
