We’re looking for a motivated CNC Swiss Set-Up Operator I to join our team! In this role, you’ll help set up and operate CNC Swiss machines to produce high-precision components. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who’s eager to learn and grow in machining.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with setting up CNC Swiss machines, including loading materials, securing parts, and installing tooling
- Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Support machine operation to produce parts with tight tolerances and complex geometries
- Gain exposure to basic CNC programming (offsets, minor edits, machine adjustments)
- Perform routine machine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication
- Monitor production and make adjustments with guidance from senior operators
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality
- Help troubleshoot issues and identify ways to improve processes
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
What You Bring
- Some experience in manufacturing or machining is helpful, but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow your skills
- Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
Education
- High school diploma required
- Technical certification or equivalent hands-on experience is a plus
