Job Description

Welcome patients into the treatment area and ensure their comfort throughout the visit.
Perform preliminary oral exams, collect health histories, and evaluate for signs of infection or gum disease.
Execute dental cleanings, remove plaque, and apply fluoride treatments.
Take diagnostic X-rays and create accurate dental impressions.
Assist the dentist during complex exams and clinical procedures.
Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques and discuss long-term care plans.
Maintain sterilized equipment and strictly adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Record accurate medical histories and take vital signs as required.

Salary Range

Part-time $45 - $60 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday – Sunday: Closed

Requirements

Associate degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
Current State Licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in dental hygiene.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and dentistry safety guidelines.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly during clinical tasks.

Preferences

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dental Hygiene.
Over 2 years of experience in a high-volume dental practice.
Advanced proficiency in digital dental technology and record-keeping.
