Café Associate — Private Corporate Location

Position Overview

Indy Grind LLC operates a specialty café inside a private corporate facility in Indianapolis. We serve a consistent, professional clientele in a focused, high-standard environment — no chaos, no guesswork. Just quality coffee, genuine hospitality, and a team to works together.

This role is ideal for someone who wants steady, predictable hours in a professional setting with potential swings in volume depending on the day of the week. You'll be one of a small team, which means your presence matters and your standards carry weight.

Position Details

• Title: Café Associate

• Type: Part-Time

• Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

• Hours: Approximately 28 hours/week

• Pay: $12.00/hour + tips

• Location: Indianapolis, IN — Private Corporate Café Facility

• Start: Immediate / As Soon as the Right Candidate is Found

What You'll Do

• Open and prepare the café for daily service — clean, stocked, and ready

• Craft espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, and café beverages to standard

• Serve and interact with corporate guests in a professional and welcoming manner

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout your shift — front and back

• Monitor product inventory and flag restocking needs to management

• Follow opening and closing procedures accurately and consistently

• Uphold quality and presentation standards on every drink, every time

• Be accountable to shift checklists, and daily task completion

• Communicate via slack with team members professionally and effectively

What We're Looking For

• Someone who shows up on time, every time — reliability is non-negotiable here

• A professional attitude — you'll be in a corporate environment, not a casual café strip

• Basic coffee or café experience preferred; barista training a plus

• A learner's mindset — we have systems, standards, and expectations we'll invest in teaching

• Ability to work independently and make good judgment calls without being managed every minute

• Genuine care for the guest experience — you represent the brand in every interaction

• Comfortable with accountability — we track quality, not just effort

• Ability to manage multiple tickets on the food bar at once without getting overwhelmed by volume.
