About the Role

TEAM Construction is looking for a Project Engineer to support our project management and field teams on commercial construction projects in the Las Vegas market. This is an entry-level opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented professional to learn the full lifecycle of commercial construction — from preconstruction through closeout — while working alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with day-to-day project administration and documentation
• Prepare, track, and manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Support project scheduling and help track progress against milestones
• Assist with material procurement, quantity takeoffs, and vendor/subcontractor coordination
• Maintain organized project documentation, drawings, specifications, and closeout records
• Attend and help document owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings
• Support quality control and punch list tracking through project completion
• Help enforce and document jobsite safety compliance

Required Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in construction, engineering, or a related field (internships and relevant coursework count)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Construction Science preferred, but not required (relevant experience or a related degree will also be considered)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with Procore or similar project management software is a plus — experience with Outbuild is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to be on-site and work closely with field teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship, co-op, or field experience in commercial construction
• Exposure to hospitality, gaming, retail, or resort/high-end residential construction
• OSHA 10 certification
