Job description

Job Title: Nefesh Specialist / Myofunctional Therapist
Location: Houston, TX 77056
Job Type: Part-Time (with full-time potential)
Schedule: Afternoons/Evenings (1:00 PM – 6:00 PM), 3–4 days per week
Are you ready to practice healthcare differently?
At TASL Health, we believe that most patients have spent years searching for real answers, only to be told their symptoms are "normal." We don’t just manage symptoms—we restore function.
We are looking for a Nefesh Specialist to join our team. This is not a traditional myofunctional therapy role; it is a specialized clinical path for practitioners who want to look beyond the jaw and tongue to treat the body as one integrated system.
The Training & Certification Path
We are committed to excellence, which is why we invest heavily in your development.

  • Intensive Training: All new hires undergo an intensive 4–6 week training program. During this period, training hours will vary to accommodate both clinical shadowing and in-depth theoretical study.
  • Certification: You will receive full training in our proprietary Nefesh Method and must achieve certification as a Nefesh Specialist before seeing patients independently.
  • Mentorship: You will be fully supported through structured clinical shadowing and ongoing clinical supervision as you integrate into our practice.

What is a Nefesh Specialist?
Our proprietary Nefesh Method is a system-based clinical framework that addresses the root causes of dysfunction, rather than just treating the isolated symptom. We don't just work on jaw or tongue muscles; we look at airway, posture, fascial tension, nervous system regulation, and global stability.
As a Nefesh Specialist, you will be trained to identify how these systems interact and how to sequence care that creates lasting, measurable change.
Who You Are
You are a highly skilled clinician who has mastered the basics of myofunctional therapy but feels limited by traditional, exercise-only protocols. You are curious, humble, and ready to learn a new, more effective way of helping patients.
Required Qualifications:

  • Current License/Certification: Must be a licensed Speech Pathologist, SLP assistant, or Registered Dental Hygenisst.
  • Experience: Proven background in basics of Myofunctional Therapy.
  • Mindset: You have a "growth mindset"—you are eager to learn, open to feedback, and committed to clinical excellence.
  • Team-Oriented: You value collaboration, integration, and communication over silos.

What We Offer

  • Professional Mastery: You will receive comprehensive training in our proprietary Nefesh Method, including craniofacial techniques and system-regulation protocols not taught in standard certification programs.
  • Clear Career Path: We provide a structured advancement model where clinical mastery and authority are rewarded. We are looking for someone to grow with us, with clear potential to move into a full-time role (5 days/week).
  • Supportive Culture: Join a team that values emotional intelligence, accountability, and a "whole-person" approach to healing.

The Role
This is a part-time position working afternoons and evenings (1:00 PM – 6:00 PM), 3–4 days per week.
Our Promise to You
We don’t settle for "good enough." We are building a clinical team that is compassionate, evidence-informed, and committed to changing lives. If you are tired of providing the same standard exercises and want to help patients truly restore their health, we want to talk to you.
To Apply: Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter explaining why you are looking to evolve beyond traditional myofunctional therapy and your interest in our intensive training model.
