Tarasco Sports Cantina has been serving the north Ballard/Whittier neighborhood since 1980 and continues to be family-run. Located just off 15th in a safe residential area, we are part of a cluster of eateries (Delancey, Rossellini’s, Frankie & Joes, A Lamb’s Quandary) that reliably draws our loyal base of customers by foot and by car. We’re known for our delicious scratch margaritas (with selection of additive-free tequila!), Mexican food, Wednesday trivia, weekend karaoke, sports-watching, darts, and free pool.

We’re looking to fill Friday & Saturday shifts, with the option for weekday shifts as they become available.

The ideal candidate will have the following traits:

1.        Punctual, ready to work

2.        High integrity respect for others

3.        Outgoing/Attentive

4.        Dedicated to their craft

5.        Prior bartending or serving experience required

6.        Must be willing to work weekend closing shifts

High-volume bartending experience is preferred but also willing to bring on the right individual who has at least high-volume serving experience, provided that they are committed to learning fast.

Pay starts at $21/hour + tips (total pay typically ranges from $45-$55/hr) and meals, with opportunity for advancement and additional hours.

Current MAST permit and food service card required, 21+ only. Physical demands of the role include but are not limited to: Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally lift up to ~50lbs.
