With manufacturing facilities in Germantown, Wisconsin and Malvern, Arkansas, all products are designed and produced in the USA using lean manufacturing techniques. We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the Management for the Daily Improvement (MDI) process for the production unit in order to control systems and monitor budgetDirect and coordinate daily operations of assigned area to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost requirementsMonitor and evaluate KPIs for the production unit; identify needs and ensure continuous improvement through the use of Lean 6S manufacturing toolsEnsure the deployment of the manufacturing operating system to increase productivity and enhance performanceLead the area core team in order to solve tactical problems and define the strategic plan for the production unit across a cross-functional teamWork in coordination with the area core team to identify new capacity and capability needs through the implementation of new technologies and process improvementsIdentify training needs and ensure proper education is delivered to team; identify talent pipelinesComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.Supervision ExercisedMotivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team membersDrive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policiesMaintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communicationsLead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CG mission, vision and values.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience5+ years of manufacturing leadership (direct or indirect) experience within operationsData collection and analysis skillsProject management skillsWorking knowledge of manufacturing safety and quality systemsWorking Knowledge and Application of Lean Manufacturing, DFM, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Total Cost of OwnershipAbility to work with cross-functional teams in a matrix environmentExcellent communication skillsDemonstrated proficient interpersonal, listening and negotiation skillsWorking knowledge of ERP systemsPreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree in Engineering or Management6S Green BeltBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electronics Engineering#LI-JE1#LI-OnsiteThe pay range for this position is $80,700.00 - $131,475.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
