Tharros is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Cybersecurity Systemsto support NSWCDD in Dahlgren, VA. These engineers provide senior-level Cybersecurity systems engineering expertise for weapon control systems and surface combat, control, and situational awareness systems throughout the full system lifecycle.
The position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity systems engineering, system security architecture, risk management, configuration management, technical documentation, security assessment and authorization processes, and the operational environments in which complex mission and information systems are deployed. Projects include cybersecurity engineering support across the system lifecycle, including security requirements development, risk and vulnerability assessment, RMF implementation, system hardening, security controls integration, configuration and change management, and cybersecurity compliance for mission-critical systems and supporting infrastructure.
