Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health issues, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions, employing diverse techniques to facilitate personal growth and enhance overall well-being.
• Engage clients in setting achievable therapeutic goals and monitor their progress throughout their treatment journey.
• Provide virtual therapy options, accommodating clients who may have mobility issues or prefer teletherapy for convenience.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to uphold ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to refine clinical skills and stay abreast of the latest industry trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• Possess an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Demonstrate empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward diverse client backgrounds and struggles.
• Show strong organizational and time management abilities, allowing efficient management of caseloads and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing teletherapy services and familiarity with digital tools for virtual counseling platforms.
• Background in working with addiction treatment or crisis intervention would be an asset.
