Position Summary

The Associate Surgical Sales Representative is responsible for supporting sales growth within an assigned territory by developing relationships with healthcare professionals, assisting with clinical support in the operating room, and providing exceptional customer service. Working closely with senior sales representatives and leadership, this role is designed to develop the skills and experience necessary to independently manage accounts and grow a surgical sales territory. The ideal candidate is motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about improving patient outcomes through innovative surgical products and clinical excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and growth of assigned hospital and physician accounts throughout Georgia.
  • Assist senior sales representatives with account management, case coverage, and customer support.
  • Provide product support and clinical assistance during surgical procedures under appropriate training and supervision.
  • Build professional relationships with surgeons, physicians, operating room personnel, purchasing departments, and hospital administrators.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Deliver product presentations, in-service training, and educational programs for healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, clinical expertise, and understanding of competitive products.
  • Accurately complete expense reports, call reports, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Participate in sales meetings and product training.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, hospital credentialing requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Travel throughout the assigned Georgia territory as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; business, biology, healthcare, or other science-related field is a plus.
  • 13 years of business-to-business sales, healthcare experience, or related professional experience preferred.
  • Medical device, surgical, healthcare, or clinical experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn complex surgical procedures and medical technologies.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to build a successful career in medical device sales.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates and leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary:$50,000 annually
