Registered Behavior Technician (RBT/BT) - Part-time Opportunity in Henrico, VA

Overview

Symphony ABA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Henrico, VA. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. This part-time position involves implementing behavior intervention plans, assisting with patient care, and ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations while fostering a positive environment for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized care plans based on applied behavior analysis principles
• Assist clients in daily living activities, promoting independence and skill development
• Monitor and document client behavior and progress, maintaining accurate records
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust treatment strategies
• Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment
• Educate clients and their families about behavioral health concepts and strategies
• Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or BA a plus
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health practices is advantageous
• Familiarity with care plans and the principles of applied behavior analysis is essential
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to assist clients compassionately
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative independently
