CO₂ capture and valorization. Our mission: transform carbon into sustainable, bio-based

resources that have a positive environmental impact.

As part of our international expansion, we are opening a new facility in New Jersey, USA, and

are looking for a Fermentation Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate

industrial scales.

• Develop and refine experimental protocols to improve productivity, robustness, and yield

of target strains.

• Conduct metabolic and analytical monitoring of cultures, including growth kinetics,

biomass/product ratios, and process parameters.

• Operate and maintain bioreactors and fermentation systems (setup, sterilization,

inoculation, sampling, cleaning, troubleshooting).

• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and propose improvements for scale-up and

process development.

• Ensure full compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene standards.

• Collaborate with process and engineering teams in both the U.S. and France to integrate

biological results into technological developments.

Qualifications and Background

• Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Bioprocess Engineering.

• 3–7 years of professional experience in microbial fermentation or bioprocess

development (R&D or industrial setting).

• Demonstrated ability to manage independent research or process operations from

planning through execution.

• Experience in scale-up/scale-down and data-driven process optimization preferred.

• Previous experience in a deeptech startup or environmental biotech project is a plus.
