Job Title: Residential Cleaner (Independent Contractor – 1099)
Location: West Chester and the surrounding areas
Starting Pay: $20-25 per hour depending on experience (room to grow)
Job Type: Contract (1099)
Schedule: Weekdays needed! M-F/ Flexible Hours available

We are currently only considering candidates with 2+ years of experience in residential cleaning, including regular, deep, and move-in/move-out cleans. Experience must be inside private homes, apartments, rentals, or condos. At this time, we are only accepting residential cleaning applicants.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Residential Cleaner to support a new and growing home cleaning business. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity offering flexible scheduling and consistent work for the right candidate.

Immediate work is available.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard, deep, and move-in/move-out cleanings in residential homes
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas
• Follow detailed cleaning checklists and client instructions precisely
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and consistency
• Communicate professionally with clients when needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of residential cleaning experience
• Regular clean, deep clean, move in and out cleans
• Strong attention to detail (non-negotiable)
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent
• Ability to follow systems, processes, and checklists
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Comfortable working independently or with a team
• Reliable transportation required
• Comfortable working in homes with pets (dogs and cats)
• Clean, neat appearance

*Bilingual is a plus

• Background check required
• Reference checks required

Independent Contractor Details

• This is a 1099 contractor role (not W2 employment)
• Contractors will be expected to provide their own cleaning supplies and equipment
• You control your availability but must be dependable for scheduled jobs

Additional Expectations

• Willingness to occasionally stay longer for deep cleans or move-in/move-out jobs
• Respect for client property, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
• No sharing of client information, photos, or home details
• Must be coachable and open to feedback

• Final interview via Zoom with business owner
