Sweet Aroma Restaurant

The Prep/Line Cook plays a crucial role in supporting a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and fine dining environment. Working within a small team of fewer than five members, the cook will prepare ingredients, manage inventory, and ensure quality control under the guidance of the Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, and restaurant owners. This position offers significant opportunities for advancement, continuous culinary training, and cross-training in other kitchen stations, fostering professional growth within the culinary field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Manage inventory to ensure ingredient availability and minimize waste
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment
• Monitor food quality and consistency throughout preparation and cooking
• Efficiently assemble orders to meet timely service demands
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Manage time effectively to meet high-volume service needs

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in food preparation, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Strong knife skills and expertise operating kitchen equipment
• Effective time management and teamwork abilities
• Clear communication skills to coordinate within a small team
