Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions and couples counseling to address relational dynamics and personal challenges.
• Facilitating family therapy sessions, focusing on the needs of the entire family unit.
• Assessing client needs and formulating treatment plans tailored to unique situations such as grief and loss, relationship conflicts, and adjustment issues.
• Providing evidence-based interventions for various concerns, including alcohol abuse, psychological trauma, job stress, and blended family dynamics.
• Documenting progress notes, treatment plans, and client outcomes in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve a diverse patient population, ranging from adults to children and adolescents. You will address a myriad of issues, including:

• Alcohol and substance abuse.
• Family conflicts, including those between siblings and parents.
• Challenges related to divorce, separation, and adjustment to blended families.
• Communication difficulties within families.
• Grief and loss associated with trauma or life transitions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping clients achieve positive outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a diverse client population in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in remote therapy delivery via telemedicine platforms.
• Flexibility to accommodate clients' schedules, ideally available for 30+ hours per week.

Compensation and Benefits

Sutter Psychotherapy Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
