Customer Service - First Notice of Loss Specialist

Location: Corporate Office Las Vegas, NV

In this FNOL claims role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients reporting claims and seeking policy information. You’ll provide exceptional service, gather and document all necessary loss information, and ensure client inquiries and claim data are handled accurately and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

· Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or fax in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.

· Provide accurate and clear information regarding insurance policies, claims processes, and services.

· Accurately input and maintain customer and claims data in the CRM system.

· Handle customer complaints and concerns with a focus on positive resolution.

· Assist with claims processing, claims update inquiries, coverage verification, and account updates.

· Collaborate with internal departments (underwriting, claims, customer service) to resolve complex client issues.

· Support claim intake processes, including FNOL (First Notice of Loss) entry and settlement processing.

· Conduct follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and ongoing support.

· Recommend appropriate services or products based on customer needs.

· Meet or exceed service performance goals, including response time and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM system experience preferred.

· Professional, empathetic, and calm demeanor under pressure.

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certificates:

· Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).

· Background in Property & Casualty Insurance (preferred).

· Previous experience in customer service, underwriting, or call center environments is a plus.

Physical Demands:

· Sit for long periods of time

· Repeat the same movements

· Use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls

· See details of objects that are less than a few feet away

· Understand the speech of another person

· Speak clearly so listeners can understand
