Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account any co-occurring medical conditions affecting patients' mental health.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate psychiatric care with medical considerations.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with a network of medical providers to ensure coordinated care and improve treatment outcomes.
• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients on the interplay between mental health and physical wellness to empower them in managing their care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in New York.
• Demonstrated experience in treating mental health issues among patients with co-occurring conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective therapeutic relationships.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and patient confidentiality.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a telehealth environment is highly desirable.
