Sunshine Academy a National Accredited Early Childhood Education Center, has an opening for a Assistant Teacher Positions.
Job Summary
As a Early Childhood Education Assistant Teacher at Sunshine Academy, you'll help care for little ones. You'll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in Implementing lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to development levels, utilizing a comprehensive and hands - on curriculum
  • Assist in documenting learning experience through displays and pictures
  • Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis
  • Maintains a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for students
  • Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing standards
  • Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment
Qualifications
  • Must Pass Level II Background Screening
  • Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels with speaking to parents
  • Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
  • Shows initiative; strong work ethic
  • Eagerness to Learn
  • Reliable and Ready to Make a Difference
Assistant Teacher
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Willing to learn and take online classes
