Location: Roanoke, TX
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:30am to 4:00pm Mon-Fri
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00hr

Summit Staffing is hiring for a growing manufacturing company in Roanoke, TX!
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Shipping Clerk to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, and safely operating a forklift to support production and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced working in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and verify outgoing shipments for accuracy.
  • Load and unload trucks using a sit-down forklift.
  • Receive incoming materials and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies.
  • Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Stage materials for production and shipping.
  • Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and packing slips.
  • Perform inventory transactions and cycle counts using an ERP/WMS system.
  • Operate RF scanners to track inventory movement.
  • Maintain an organized warehouse and shipping area.
  • Complete daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
  • Follow OSHA guidelines and all company safety procedures.
  • Work closely with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to meet customer delivery schedules.

Job Requirements:
  • 2+ years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
  • Reach Truck experience
  • Forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified).
  • Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar is a plus).
  • Ability to operate RF scanners and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience.
  • Experience with domestic and LTL freight shipments.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
