Job description

Summit Place KIA is growing and we are looking for a first-class Parts Department Driver/Stockperson to handle any and all tasks needed by the department for our dealerships in the greater Detroit area - we have locations in Oakland and Macomb County. We are looking for dedicated team players with a winning attitude and service experience who have a passion to help. Responsibilities include:
  • Wholesale/internal deliveries
  • Checking in daily stock orders
  • Putting stock away
  • Preparing/tagging wholesale shipments
  • Assist in notifying customers when parts arrive
  • Assist with pulling and boxing parts returns
  • Keeping the department clean and organized
  • Provide timely and correct parts deliveries to our wholesale customers
  • Load truck with parts going out for delivery
  • Pick up returns from shops and document for credit
  • Collect payments from shops
  • Maintain relationships with the shops you deliver to
  • May also include additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a professional appearance, be detail oriented, and demonstrate good judgment with a positive attitude.
  • Candidates should be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly with or without assistance.
  • Must be able to read and write and perform basic math.
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a dealership preferred.
  • Willingness to learn the counter, and the initiative and motivation to become a Parts Counterperson in the future
