Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, developing tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Utilize a variety of rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor and document patient progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Provide education to patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, exercises, and lifestyle changes to promote long-term health.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise in designing effective rehabilitation programs will help individuals regain strength, mobility, and confidence, ultimately leading them to achieve their physical goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license to practice in New Jersey.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy or related fields.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
• Demonstrated capability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific treatment techniques such as manual therapy, dry needling, and post-operative rehabilitation is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and rehabilitation software is a plus.
• Specialty certifications in orthopedic physical therapy or related areas will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits
