Job description

Salesforce Delivery Coordinator & Project Manager

Part-Time Contract Role | Remote | Independent Contractors Only | Authorized to Work in the U.S. | U.S. Based Only

About Summit One

Summit One is a boutique Salesforce consulting firm that helps growing and mission-driven organizations build practical systems that support how their teams actually work.

We are boutique by design. Our clients work directly with experienced consultants who take the time to understand their organization, communicate clearly, and remain invested beyond an individual project or deliverable. We value thoughtful discovery, reliable execution, transparent communication, and long-term client relationships.

We are not interested in adding unnecessary process or technical complexity. Our goal is to leave clients with Salesforce solutions and operating practices that are understandable, maintainable, and capable of supporting their continued growth.

As our project portfolio expands, we are looking for a Salesforce Delivery Coordinator and Project Manager who can help us strengthen how projects are planned, communicated, and delivered.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to help shape how a growing Salesforce consulting firm delivers its work.

You will work closely with Summit One's founder, Salesforce consultants, developers, and client stakeholders to bring structure, visibility, and consistent follow-through to implementations, discovery engagements, long-term engagements, and ongoing client relationships.

We are looking for someone who can understand the situation before putting a process in place, ask thoughtful questions, turn conversations into clear next steps, and keep both clients and internal team members aligned. You will manage the day-to-day details of delivery while also helping us build the systems, templates, and operating practices that will support Summit One as we grow.

Because we are a lean team, your work will be highly visible and meaningful. You will have the freedom to introduce better ways of working, experiment with practical uses of AI and automation, and directly influence the experience our clients and team members have.

What You Will Own
  • Build and maintain clear project plans, milestones, tasks, owners, timelines, dependencies, and priorities in ClickUp.
  • Prepare for and support client meetings, capturing decisions, action items, risks, open questions, and next steps.
  • Turn project conversations into organized follow-through so commitments do not get lost between meetings.
  • Provide clients with clear, thoughtful updates on progress, upcoming work, decisions needed, and potential risks.
  • Track projects against scope, timeline, budget, and available hours, surfacing concerns early with context and recommended next steps.
  • Coordinate across clients, consultants, and developers to remove blockers and keep work moving.
  • Help design and improve Summit One's delivery processes, including templates, dashboards, meeting practices, status reporting, and project controls.
  • Identify practical opportunities to use AI, automation, and connected tools to improve project visibility and reduce unnecessary administrative work.
  • Adapt the level of process to the needs of each engagement without creating unnecessary complexity.
  • Contribute to a client experience that feels proactive, transparent, personal, and well managed.
What Success Looks Like
  • Clients consistently understand where their projects stand and what is needed from them.
  • Internal team members have clear priorities, ownership, and next steps.
  • Risks, delays, and scope concerns are identified before they become larger problems.
  • Project information in ClickUp is accurate, current, and useful.
  • The founder and technical team spend less time chasing updates and coordinating administrative details.
  • Summit One develops repeatable delivery systems that are practical, scalable, and built to last.
  • You become a trusted partner to both the team and our clients.
The Person We Are Looking For

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Care deeply about the client experience, not simply whether tasks were completed.
  • Listen carefully and seek to understand before recommending a new process.
  • Naturally turn complex conversations into organized actions and decisions.
  • Are excited by the opportunity to build processes from the ground up.
  • Take ownership without waiting for detailed instructions.
  • Communicate directly, thoughtfully, and respectfully.
  • Bring possible solutions when raising a problem.
  • Are curious about AI, automation, and new ways to improve how work gets done.
  • Can operate effectively in a lean, fast-moving business where priorities and responsibilities may evolve.
  • Are comfortable working with both nontechnical client stakeholders and technical Salesforce professionals.
Qualifications
  • At least three years of project management, delivery coordination, implementation consulting, or professional-services experience.
  • Experience supporting technology, CRM, SaaS, or systems implementation projects.
  • Strong written communication, organization, meeting facilitation, and follow-through skills.
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders, deadlines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Experience using a project-management platform such as ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or Jira.
  • Ability to understand project scope, timelines, budgets, estimates, and change considerations.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. and live in the U.S.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Salesforce consulting experience, Salesforce certifications, ClickUp knowledge, and experience using AI or automation to improve project delivery are strongly preferred. However, we will prioritize judgment, ownership, communication, and the ability to build strong client relationships over Salesforce experience alone.

Why Join Summit One

This role is well suited for someone who wants more than a narrowly defined project-management position.

You will join a small business at a stage where your ideas and contributions can meaningfully shape how we operate. You will have the opportunity to build delivery systems that last, improve the way a growing consulting team works, and introduce new approaches while remaining close to the clients and projects your work supports.

As Summit One grows, this role may develop into broader ownership of project delivery, resource planning, operating standards, and team leadership.

Working Structure
  • Part-time independent contractor engagement.
  • Approximately 15–20 hours per week, with the potential to expand.
  • Remote and must be in the U.S.
  • Individual applicants only. Must be authorized to work in U.S. Agencies and agency-provided personnel will not be considered.
