What You Will Do and the Impact You Will Make 

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will support daily branch operations, guide team members, and help create an exceptional experience for every member. 

In this role, you will: 

  • Lead, coach, and support branch staff 
  • Assist with operational accuracy and daily workflows 
  • Contribute to branch goals and service standards 
  • Help members with more complex financial needs 
  • Build relationships within the branch and local community

What You Will Bring 

  • Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience 
  • Two or more years in retail or financial services 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NMLS number 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that reflect professionalism 
  • Good judgment, adaptability, and the ability to solve daily challenges within guidelines 
  • Active listening skills and a thoughtful approach to resolving complex situations 
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate proactively with members and nonmembers 
  • Strong attention to detail and consistent follow through 
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office 
  • Solid math skills and the ability to learn more complex financial concepts

  • Physical Demands of Position:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand, walk and sit, use hands and fingers. The employee occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level, and lift/push/pull and/or carry up to 40 pounds.  
  • Environmental/Working Conditions: Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Saturday hours required.
