Production and Process Engineering Leader (2nd Shift)
The Role:
We seek a proactive, technically-minded leader to join our 2nd Shift Production Labels team (M-TH 1:45-11:15 p.m. and F 1:45-5:45 p.m.) as a Production and Process Engineering Leader. In this role, you’ll drive production excellence by leading people and optimizing systems. You will think critically about workflows, address operational challenges quickly, and foster a culture of urgency, quality, and accountability among machine operators.

Strategic Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Monitor and Analyze Production: Proactively observe daily operations, gather real-time data, and analyze system performance to identify inefficiencies, equipment issues, and risks before they escalate.
Engineer System Improvements: Apply structured problem-solving and engineering principles to design better workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and implement sustainable, scalable improvements.
Lead and Develop Teams: Set clear operational standards for machine operation, urgency, attendance, and attitude. Coach and hold operators accountable with consistent, real-time feedback.
Drive Data-Driven Results: Leverage operational metrics and production data to prioritize initiatives that increase throughput, enhance quality, and simplify processes.
Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Investigate production challenges actively, identify root causes through technical analysis, and execute corrective actions with speed and precision.
Grow as a Leader: Engage in leadership mentoring, honing a leadership style rooted in engineering rigor, operational excellence, and cultural integrity.
Basic Qualifications:
Self-motivated critical thinker with strong analytical instincts and leadership presence.
Excellent attention to detail, foresight, and decision-making ability under pressure.
Strong communication skills to convey technical and operational information clearly.
Proven ability to lead people, enforce accountability, and maintain a positive, performance-driven culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years in production, manufacturing, or operations leadership.
Engineering background or equivalent systems/process optimization experience.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
History of using data to drive improvements and coaching teams to higher performance.
