Position Overview

Strive Behavioral Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about providing impactful therapy services to clients grappling with mental health challenges and substance use issues. You will play a critical role in our detox center, helping individuals navigate their recovery journeys while promoting their overall well-being through tailored therapeutic interventions.

About the Organization

Strive Behavioral Healthcare is a pioneering organization committed to delivering high-quality behavioral health services. Located in Happy Valley, Oregon, we prioritize evidence-based practices and maintain a strong, collaborative team of healthcare providers. Our mission is to empower clients through supportive, personalized care, ensuring they feel valued and respected throughout their treatment journey.

Work Environment

This position offers a flexible, remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while complying with the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy. You will engage with a supportive team that values their contributions and encourages continuous professional growth. Our work culture emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and the ongoing development of therapeutic skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s specific needs and personal goals, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one and group therapy sessions, ensuring complete confidentiality and fostering a safe environment for clients to express themselves.
  • Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and individual supervision to enhance therapeutic practice and client outcomes.
  • Analyze client information and assessments to inform diagnoses and treatment plans; make referrals to additional specialists or institutions as necessary.
  • Facilitate therapeutic activities, including leading group therapy sessions and engaging clients in recreational activities that support their recovery.
  • Utilize a coaching model and natural environment teaching to promote skill development and self-efficacy among clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve at our detox center include individuals facing various mental health disorders and struggles with substance use. This population often requires a nuanced understanding of their unique experiences and challenges. Your role will not only be to provide therapeutic support but also to advocate for clients’ needs, fostering resilience and recovery through compassionate care.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
  • A current, valid, and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of Oregon is mandatory.
  • Proven expertise in time management and organizational skills, enabling you to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A willingness to engage in self-reflection and an openness to receiving supervision and feedback as part of your professional development.
  • At least three years of post-licensure experience working within mental health or substance use treatment settings are essential.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years of relevant experience is required, candidates with experience in detox or inpatient settings, crisis intervention, and group facilitation will be highly valued. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is preferred, as these are essential tools for delivering remote services effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental, health, vision, and life insurance. In addition, we provide paid time off, an employee discount program, and professional development assistance to support your ongoing education and career growth.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Strive Behavioral Healthcare, we are committed to your professional development and career advancement. We encourage ongoing education and provide resources for continuous learning, allowing you to improve your skills and take on new responsibilities within the organization. Opportunities for leadership roles and specialized training in emergent therapeutic practices may be available as you progress in your career.
