Strategic Support Solutions is seeking three licensed Aircraft Turboprop Mechanics specializing in turboprop maintenance and repair. This role focuses primarily on Beechcraft King Air and other general aviation turboprop platforms, executing phase inspections, engine rigging, and system troubleshooting at our state-of-the-art Smyrna hangar.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, phase inspections, and repairs on turboprop airframes, propellers, and Pratt & Whitney PT6 series turboprop engines.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and rig engine controls, propeller governors, and mechanical systems.
- Service, repair, and replace components within landing gear systems, flight controls, fuel systems, and environmental controls.
- Complete airworthiness directives (ADs) and service bulletins (SBs).
- Ensure all paperwork and maintenance logs are completed thoroughly and in strict compliance with FAA and company repair station guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Minimum of 3 years of general aviation maintenance experience, with a specific focus on Beechcraft King Air (e.g., King Air 90, 200, 300 series) or similar turboprop platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of PT6 engines, propeller systems, and mechanical aircraft rigging.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, and electrical/hydraulic schematics.
- Must provide own rolling toolbox and standard aviation hand tools.
