*New Senior Litigation Associate role available in Union County, NJ*

Compensation: $195,000 – $215,000+ Base Salary

Our client, a nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate with 5+ years of defense-side complex litigation experience to join its growing New Jersey office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator who enjoys managing sophisticated matters, mentoring junior attorneys, and contributing to the growth of a thriving practice.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution

-Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and other court filings

-Handle written discovery and develop e-discovery strategies

-Take and defend depositions

-Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions

-Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials

-Collaborate with litigation teams and mentor junior attorneys

-Build and strengthen client relationships while supporting business development efforts

Qualifications:

-5+ years of defense-side litigation experience

-Strong experience handling complex litigation matters independently

-Excellent legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills

-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

-Strong judgment, leadership presence, and client service mindset

-Interest in business development and long-term practice growth

-Admission to both the New Jersey and New York Bars required

Preferred Experience:

-Employment litigation experience is a plus

-Attorneys from other complex defense litigation practices are encouraged to apply if interested in developing an employment law practice
