StoneAge Holdings includes StoneAge Tools and Warthog Nozzles, trusted brands known worldwide for their durability, performance, and innovation in industrial cleaning applications. We are an innovative, employee-owned company that aims to change our industry and the world through advancing technical products and services – and with our unique, people-centric culture.

Job Summary

The Branch Operations Team Member supports customers and branch operations through customer service, order processing, inventory control, shipping and receiving, rental support, and basic equipment service. This role is expected to work across branch functions, respond to changing priorities, maintain a safe and organized workplace, and deliver dependable service to customers and teammates. This is an on site position reporting to the Branch Operations Manager.

Essential Functions

  • Provide professional customer service by phone, in person, and through written communication.
  • Process sales, rental, return, purchase, and inventory transactions accurately in Epicor and other company systems.
  • Coordinate order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, stocking, delivery, and customer pickup activities.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, proper material handling, and timely reporting of discrepancies or missing items.
  • Prepare, inspect, clean, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rental equipment and customer owned products within the employee's training and assigned responsibilities.
  • Provide customers with basic equipment operation, safety information, manuals, and technical support as appropriate.
  • Maintain branch equipment, work areas, tools, and rental assets in a clean, safe, organized, and customer ready condition.
  • Communicate priorities, schedule conflicts, customer needs, and operational concerns to the Branch Operations Manager.
  • Support branch improvement efforts by identifying practical ways to improve safety, quality, speed, and efficiency.
  • Participate in the branch on call schedule and perform other duties assigned by the Branch Operations Manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Training

  • High school diploma or GED. Customer service, warehouse, mechanical, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to learn StoneAge products, applications, repair practices, rental processes, freight requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Epicor, technical manuals, jetting charts, and other company tools.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and material handling equipment safely. Forklift certification and required waterblast safety training must be completed through StoneAge.
  • Clear verbal and written communication, dependable attendance, sound judgment, teamwork, and the ability to adjust priorities in a fast moving branch environment.
  • Commitment to Safety First, continuous improvement, and the StoneAge Own It mindset: Be a Great Teammate, Practice Self Leadership, and Deliver on the StoneAge Assurance Promise.

Other Information

  • Extended working hours, travel, driving, deliveries, and customer site support may be required based on branch needs.
  • A valid driver license may be required. DOT qualification is helpful for positions assigned to operate regulated vehicles.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy loads using approved techniques and follow all requirements in the StoneAge Employee Handbook and Safety Handbook.
  • StoneAge values a workplace where individual differences are recognized, respected, and used to strengthen the team.

Team Culture

  • Customer-Focused: Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Dedicated: Hardworking, trustworthy, and committed to giving 100% daily. "It's not my job" doesn't exist here.
  • Adaptable and Creative: Agile in the face of change, striving for excellence, and thinking creatively to solve problems.
  • Positive and Fun: Bring joy, humor, and a contagious positive attitude to the workplace.
  • Respectful and Collaborative: Listen to understand, respect others, and foster a spirit of teamwork.

We are an employee-owned company with profit-sharing and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan ("ESOP"), in which shares of company stock are allocated to eligible employees each year.
