Position Overview

We are excited to announce an opening for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team at The Still Point. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment while supporting the mental wellness of students within a school setting in Clovis, California. As a committed professional, you will be instrumental in promoting whole-person wellness and equity in mental health care.

About the Organization

The Still Point is a mission-driven outpatient practice dedicated to enhancing the mental health and overall well-being of our community. We prioritize clinical excellence and strive to foster an inclusive environment where diverse voices are heard and respected. Our team is passionate about providing culturally competent care to all clients, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds.

Work Environment

This role is designed for a remote work setting, ideal for balancing professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Our virtual format allows for seamless communication and collaboration among team members while providing essential services to clients in schools. You will utilize online platforms to engage with students, their families, and other stakeholders, ensuring impactful service delivery that transcends traditional barriers to care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and culturally responsive therapies for diverse populations.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and agency standards, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices.
  • Participate in collaborative clinical consultations, ongoing training, and supervision sessions to enhance professional skills and service delivery.
  • Advocate for clients by connecting them with necessary resources across educational, legal, healthcare systems, and community services, thus improving their access to care.
  • Contribute proactively to a culture of inclusion, ongoing learning, and mutual respect within the organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve students and their families, addressing a variety of emotional, relational, and systemic challenges that affect their mental health. Your work will center on supporting children and adolescents, particularly those from marginalized populations such as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and low-income households. Understanding the unique stressors these populations face will be crucial in your approach to therapy and advocacy.

Qualifications
  • Current and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred for advanced practice.
  • Strong competency in the diagnostic formulation, trauma-informed care, and culturally competence methodologies.
  • A commitment to service excellence and ethical practice is essential.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 1 to 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably within a school or community mental health setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms such as SimplePractice or Zoom.
  • Experience coordinating care across multiple systems, such as healthcare and educational settings.
  • A deep understanding of the obstacles faced by marginalized communities.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive Health & Wellness Benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and mental health coverage.
  • Flexible Scheduling options that may include hybrid models and telehealth services to accommodate family life and work-life balance.
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy encompassing vacation, sick leave, and designated holidays.
  • Continuing Education Support, with reimbursement for CEUs and access to internal training opportunities.
Career Growth Opportunities

At The Still Point, we genuinely invest in your career development, offering multiple avenues for professional advancement. You will have access to clinical mentorship, participate in training programs, and engage in community outreach initiatives. Growth within our team can lead to leadership roles in program development, training coordination, or service optimization, aligning your aspirations with our organizational goals.
