The Deposit Operations Business Systems Specialist supports the daily maintenance, monitoring, and administration of core banking and ancillary systems. This role focuses on user access controls, system updates, reporting support, and audit preparation activities to ensure operational accuracy, data integrity, and compliance. The Specialist partners with internal teams to troubleshoot basic system issues, fulfill requests, and support ongoing process improvements within Deposit Operations.


  • Maintain system specifications across multiple banking and operational platforms, ensuring accurate setup and updates of products, users, and configurations.
  • Support user access administration across 16+ systems, including adding, modifying, removing, and resetting user access, as well as assisting with periodic access reviews to ensure appropriate permissions.
  • Monitor HR notifications to promptly remove or update system access for terminated or transferred employees.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests by gathering documentation, validating system data, and responding to inquiries.
  • Support affiliate account monitoring and reporting to ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Generate and distribute routine Business Analytics reports and assist with data validation and reconciliation.
  • Review Fiserv publications and system updates, escalating relevant changes and coordinating with appropriate departments as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining documentation for processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Identify and escalate system issues, discrepancies, or inefficiencies to senior team members.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to Deposit Operations and business partners.

  • Basic understanding of banking operations or financial services environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and manage routine, recurring tasks.
  • Develop analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with guidance and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Experience working with system access controls or user administration processes.

  • Minimum Required: High school degree or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum Required: No experience required, 1+ years of relevant experience in banking, operations, or systems support preferred.

  • Minimum Required: None.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Familiarity with core banking systems (e.g., Fiserv Premier).
  • Exposure to Business Analytics or reporting tools.
