Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical condition, mobility, and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
• Educate patients on proper therapeutic exercise techniques to enhance recovery, including strength training and flexibility exercises.
• Utilize hands-on treatment methods, such as massage and manual therapy, to promote healing and alleviate pain.
• Guide patients in the use of mobility aids, including wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring they feel confident and safe during their recovery process.
• Maintain accurate patient records, tracking treatment progress and updating goals regularly as per clinical standards.
• Engage with patients and their families to discuss at-home treatment options and exercises that support ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Step into Strength Physical Therapy, our patient population spans a broad spectrum of ages and diagnoses, including but not limited to orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and pediatric concerns. Qualifications

• A Doctor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.

• Proficient in computer skills, including electronic health record (EHR) management and documentation.
• Ability to work flexibly, adapting to the clinic's scheduling needs while prioritizing patient care.

Preferred Experience

While no specific experience is required, candidates with at least 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting will be preferred. Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities and patient populations will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
