Through its "kids first" approach, Steel Sports is establishing the Steel standard in youth sports and coaching, forging the next generation of leaders by instilling Steel Sports' core values: Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, and Commitment.
Steel Sports creates a positive youth sports experience - building character and teaching life lessons - for over 100,000 athletes each year. In addition to Steel Soccer, Steel Sports operates Team Steel Baseball and Softball at Lasorda Legacy Park. Job Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Pitching and/or Hitting Instructor to help develop baseball players' mechanics, technique, and game understanding. This role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction in both pitching and hitting, with an emphasis on player development, safety, and fostering a love for the game.
Responsibilities:
Schedule:
Weekday evenings: Monday-Friday, 4pm-9pm
Weekends: Saturday & Sunday between 9am-3pm
Instructors can set flexible schedules based on availability, but consistent weekly commitment is preferred

- Must have prior coaching or instructional experience (1+ year preferred)
- Played at high school varsity level or above (college or professional experience strongly preferred)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong communication and motivational skills, especially with youth athletes (ages 7-18)
- Ability to plan and lead both private lessons and small-group sessions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
