Role Description This part-time Barber role is an on-site position located in McCordsville, IN. The Barber will perform day-to-day services including haircutting, beard grooming, and basic hair care consultations while maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Responsibilities include greeting clients, assessing their grooming needs, offering style recommendations, and delivering consistent, high-quality results. The Barber will manage appointments, support walk-in clients, and contribute to a positive shop environment through professional communication and teamwork. Maintaining sanitation standards, following shop policies, and building strong client relationships are essential aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong Barbering and Hair Cutting skills with the ability to perform a variety of contemporary and classic styles.
• Knowledge of Hair Styling and Hair Care techniques, including product usage and basic hair health guidance.
• Cosmetology or barber license in the state of Indiana, in good standing.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and manage multiple clients efficiently.
• Commitment to hygiene, sanitation standards, and a professional appearance.
• Previous barbershop or salon experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and availability for part-time, on-site shifts including evenings or weekends as needed.
