This individual will drive profitable sales growth by promoting the company's full portfolio of fresh protein products, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with experience in foodservice, protein, or food distribution who thrives in a relationship-driven environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and grow sales within the assigned Baltimore and Washington marketplace.Prospect, qualify, and secure new business while expanding existing customer relationships.Promote the company's portfolio of fresh poultry, beef, pork, seafood, and value-added protein products.Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular in-person visits, presentations, and follow-up.Increase account volume while maintaining high customer retention and satisfaction.Develop strategic sales plans and target lists for new customer acquisition.Utilize competitive sales techniques and market knowledge to maximize growth opportunities.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and exceptional customer service.Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and account activity updates.Professionally represent the company at industry events, trade shows, customer demonstrations, and networking opportunities.Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the fresh protein industry.Perform other duties as assigned to support business growth.RequirementsProven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals and revenue targets.Experience in foodservice, fresh protein, meat, poultry, seafood, or food distribution sales preferred.Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and consultative selling.Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or sales management software.Bilingual in Spanish or Korean is a plus.Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.Ability to successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug screening and background check.State Street Poultry & Provisions offers a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career with one of the region's leading fresh protein distributors!Requirements:Proven sales achievement consistently meeting sales quotas/budgets.Demonstrates ability to persuade and influence others (good negotiation skills).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Long range planning ability with both anticipation and insight.Demonstrate strong sales and commitment to customer service.Computer skills in Microsoft products.Commitment to high standards and sharing company values.Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.50% work from home and 50% travel locally and in the office.Holly Poultry, Inc. and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
