Our expertise spans robotic simulation, electrical and software engineering, and Industry 4.0 integration, serving clients across industries such as automotive, aerospace, mining, and alternative energy. SGA is currently seeking an experienced Controls Engineer with a passion for automation and a desire to advance their career. We have multiple openings across North America, offering the opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Promote and comply with all safety standards
- Collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Support electrical and software design as needed
- Optimize cycle times and improve throughput
- Maintain customer relationships
- Assist with electrical and software design when required
- Start-up, debug and troubleshooting of PLC Controls automation equipment at the Build Shop and customer's site.
- Throughput enhancement at customer's site
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM
- 25 years of experience as a Controls Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering or programming field
- Strong knowledge of PLCs and HMIs
- Preferred knowledge of robotic systems
- Experience with Automotive, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing industries
- Extensive commissioning experience
- Preferred hardware and software design capabilities
- Ability to travel to customer sites across North America
- Valid passport and drivers license
- Eligibility for a TN Visa
