*Job pay range:  $25 - $30 (DOE)*

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot and repair all types of industrial equipment including older CNC machines
• Must be able to read prints and electrical schematics and use all test meters and equipment, such as ohmmeters, voltage meters, oscilloscopes, ammeters and test lamps
• Assist in installation of service for new equipment for voltages ranging from 110V to 416V, single phase and three phase, DC drives, numerical controls, welding machines, and hydraulic systems
• Confer with management to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment, and to insure the safety of personnel
• Work with minimum supervision
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees
• Follow all safety and health procedures issued by the company

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Manufacturing environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Work involves long periods of sanding, squatting, bending, twisting and reaching, may also include climbing
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions; heat, cold, rain
• Need normal vision and hearing
• Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel toed work boots and gloves

PPE REQUIREMENTS:

• Safety glasses, ear protection, steel toed boots and gloves
• Use of grinder / welding equipment requires face shield or goggles
