Location: Houston, TX 77032
Pay Rate: $23.00–$26.00 per hour, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Employment Type: Long-Term Temporary Assignment
Work Environment: On-site
 Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Export Traffic Coordinator to support international export operations. This position will be responsible for coordinating export shipments, maintaining accurate documentation and data, communicating with internal teams and customers, and assisting with reporting and workflow automation.
The ideal candidate will have experience in international shipping, ocean exports, logistics, freight forwarding, or steamship line operations and must be fluent in Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate.
 Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor international export shipments from booking through completion.
  • Process and maintain export documentation and shipment information.
  • Review shipment details for accuracy and ensure required information is entered into internal systems.
  • Communicate with customers, internal departments, terminals, vendors, and other parties regarding shipment status and documentation.
  • Monitor bookings, cargo movement, deadlines, and export requirements.
  • Research and resolve shipment discrepancies, documentation issues, and operational delays.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, and electronic files.
  • Create, maintain, and update operational reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Utilize Microsoft Power Automate to create and manage automated workflows, notifications, and processes.
  • Analyze operational data and assist management with identifying trends, exceptions, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and reports.
  • Respond to emails and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with additional export traffic and administrative responsibilities as needed.
 Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience in ocean exports, international transportation, freight forwarding, steamship lines, or logistics strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Power BI is REQUIRED.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Power Automate is REQUIRED.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to create, update, and interpret reports and operational data.
  • Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
 Assignment Details
This is a long-term temporary assignment located in the 77032 area of Houston, TX. The position is on-site, Monday through Friday, and pays $23.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Candidates must have strong, hands-on Power BI and Power Automate experience to be considered.
