We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG Stainless Steel Welder to join our production team.

Position Summary

The TIG Stainless Steel Welder will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on stainless steel components and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role plays a key part in building durable, clean, and sanitary-grade equipment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel components, 
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding procedures.
• Set up welding equipment and ensure proper shielding gas and filler rod selection.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions as required.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure structural soundness and meet visual and dimensional quality standards.
• Clean and polish welds to meet sanitary or cosmetic requirements, as applicable.
• Fit and assemble parts before welding, using tools such as clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
• Collaborate with fabricators, engineers, and quality control inspectors throughout the build process.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 1–3 years of TIG welding experience, specifically on stainless steel.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, cosmetic welds.
• Experience with sanitary welding and polishing (if applicable to industry, e.g., food or pharma).
• Knowledge of weld symbols and tolerances.

Preferred:

• Experience in equipment manufacturing or custom fabrication.
• Familiarity with working in a regulated or clean manufacturing environment.
• AWS welding certification or ability to pass a welding test.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as welding hood, gloves, safety glasses, etc.
