Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at St. Jude Behavioral Health Center, you will:

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations to understand the emotional and psychological challenges faced by your clients.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that employ individualized therapy techniques aimed at promoting personal growth and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to set therapeutic goals, tracking progress and adapting strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions focusing on issues related to relationships, family dynamics, and personal challenges.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions, ensuring effective communication and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse range of clients, including adults and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. You will play a crucial role in supporting clients dealing with life transitions, relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, and trauma, making a direct impact on their mental health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • A valid, active license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Illinois.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating proficiency in delivering effective therapy.
  • Experience working with both adult and adolescent populations, with a focus on relationship and family issues.
Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have experience with a range of therapeutic modalities and interventions, as well as familiarity with telehealth technologies to provide remote therapy. Experience in a community health setting is also desirable, as it reflects the values and culture of our organization.

Compensation and Benefits

St. Jude Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 – $100,000 per year, with additional sign-on bonuses available.
