Job description

TNT Kid's Fitness & Gymnastics vision is to become a global leader in making a difference in people's lives through movement. We are an inclusive gymnastics space that provides innovative programming for physical activity that serves special needs alongside competitive athletes. PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Serve TNT's mission by building and fostering relationships in a fun, positive, and safe environment. Special Needs coaches create and/or implement age-appropriate activities to enhance skill development and achieve the desired skill objectives in the following classes:
  • Adaptive Schools (Preschool & Highschool)
  • No Limits (Highschool to Adults)
  • Parkinson's Performance Boxing
  • 1 on 1 (All Ages)
  • Small Groups (All Ages)
  • Recreational Gymnastics

Special Needs coaches work specifically with athletes who require adaptations due to physical, intellectual, or behavioral needs. Skills that are taught are based on the child's needs and goals.
You may be asked to work alongside Para Educators/Teachers, Higher Education Professors, Students pursuing bachelors, masters, or doctorate degrees.
Skills/Knowledge Required or Work-Related Experience:
All candidates must have a passion for building relationships and positively influencing individuals through movement.
Preferred but not required:
  • Experience working as a Direct Support Professional, Para Educator, Childcare employee, or Job Coach.
  • Attending, interested in attending or graduated from university for: Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Early Childhood Education, Physical Education, Psychology, Primary Education, Developmental & Adaptive Physical Education, Exercise Science, Coaching, Nursing, Health Education, or Special Education

Coaches are Responsible to:
  • Unlock Potential while learning all content needed to teach the curriculum
  • Complete administrative tasks associated with scheduled classes (attendance, skill tracking, evaluations, etc.)
  • Keep customers safe by teaching appropriate activities and enforcing gym safety rules.
  • Complete all nightly cleaning duties and gym reset tasks.
  • Stay current with upcoming TNT Events.
  • Maintain all required certifications pertinent to position.

Compensation:
  • $14.00 to $24.00

Hours:
  • Afternoon & Evenings, Monday through Friday
