Job description

The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area.  Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Job Summary

The Scholarship Coordinator is a key administrative role within the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF) and serves as an integral member of the Scholarship Team. This position supports the administration and daily operations of TTEF's scholarship programs, including MOScholars, by ensuring accurate processing, efficient workflows, and exceptional customer service to families, schools, and other stakeholders.

The Scholarship Coordinator works collaboratively with the Scholarship Team to manage scholarship-related activities, maintain accurate records, respond to inquiries, and provide guidance regarding scholarship processes and requirements. This role serves as an important point of contact for partner schools and families, helping to ensure a positive experience while supporting the successful delivery of TTEF's mission to make quality education accessible through need-based scholarships.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and complete scholarship records through timely data entry and effective use of the scholarship database, Civicore and Odyssey, and other technology systems.
  • Support all aspects of the scholarship administration process, from application through payment cycle. including processing applications, determining eligibility, awarding scholarships, coordinating payments, and assisting with annual student requalification.
  • Serve as a point of contact for scholarship families and partner schools by providing exceptional customer service through phone calls, email correspondence, and face to face meetings.
  • Work with all TTEF staff on scholarship projects as assigned by Executive Director based on team needs.
  • Mission alignment with an affinity for providing children a pathway to a brighter future through faith-based educational opportunity.
Job Requirements

Knowledge & Experience Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • Background in education preferred
  • Non-profit experience desirable 

Skills & Attitudes Required for Success in Job 

  • Proficient in Microsoft - specifically Excel and Word.
  • Skilled at providing effective, positive, and supportive written and verbal communication.
  • Willingness to learn new skills, updated tools, and programs to effectively support/grow scholarship operations.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage time/tasks well.
  • Flexibility and patience to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
  • Pays careful attention to detail in communication, reporting, and operations.
  • Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
