Job description

Job Summary:

The St. Louis Cardinals are seeking candidates for multiple Museum and Tour Guest Services Representative openings! Duties will include greeting guests at the front desk of the museum, selling tickets, checking-in groups, scanning tickets, resolving ticket issues, answering phone calls and emails, capturing and selling tour photos, and providing exceptional customer service.

This is a part-time, year-round position with regularly scheduled hours throughout the year.

Job Duties:

  • Handle all ticket transactions for Cardinals Museum (sells tickets, accepts payments, resolves ticket issues, scans tickets, etc.) to provide a convenient and friendly experience for customers purchasing museum tickets
  • Maintain knowledge of the operations of Cardinals Nation, Ballpark Village, and the Cardinals to answer customer inquiries
  • Accept payment for ticket transactions and help reconcile cash/receipts at the end of each day
  • Address calls and emails as needed to facilitate additional ticket sales and communicate with customers and staff
  • Capture and sell photographs taken during the Stadium Tour

Education/Experience Required:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Experience in customer service or ticket sales a plus.
  • Must be comfortable using a computer with face-to-face customer transactions and working with cash
  • Proficient in working with a computerized point-of-sale system
  • Understand cash-handling procedures including start-up and EOD reconciliation
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to sit comfortably for long periods of time
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Education/Experience Preferred:

  • High school diploma/GED plus 1-2 years of experience in a ticket sales, customer service, or retail position with point-of-sale role
  • Experience in face-to-face customer service roles, selling tickets in an entertainment venue and reconciling cash/sales on a daily basis
  • Proficient in working with a computerized point-of-sale system (experience with ticket systems a plus)
  • Understand cash-handling procedures including start-up and EOD reconciliation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to sit comfortably for long periods of time
  • Comfortable handling photography equipment and taking pictures
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
