Position Summary

Springwood School is seeking a passionate, faith-driven History Teacher for grades 7–10. The ideal candidate will engage students through meaningful instruction, encourage critical thinking, and integrate a Christian worldview while preparing students for the academic expectations of high school.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging history and social studies instruction.
• Foster critical thinking through historical analysis, discussion, and research.
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.
• Integrate Christian values into daily instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Utilize educational technology and FACTS for grading and communication.
• Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with faculty.
• Participate in school activities and contribute to campus life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in History, Social Studies Education, or a related field
• Teaching certification 
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Successful completion of a background check.
