Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the assessment and management of physical therapy treatment plans targeting pain relief, functional improvement, and rehabilitation goals for a diverse patient population.
  • Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure fidelity to the established treatment protocols and plans of care.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities using diagnostic assessments focusing on muscle strength, joint mobility, and functional tasks.
  • Regularly review and optimize care plans based on patient progress and clinical findings, maintaining an adaptive approach to treatment.
  • Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as traction and ultrasound, tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and the use of assistive devices to promote independence and adherence to home exercise programs.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation of all clinical interactions, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of care.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team discussions, offering insights and coordinating comprehensive care objectives for each patient.
  • Act as a mentor to other staff members, promoting best practices and fostering ongoing professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist will provide care to a diverse range of patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. This includes post-operative orthopedic patients, individuals recovering from sports-related injuries, and those requiring rehabilitation from chronic pain syndromes. Our practice emphasizes evidence-based treatment strategies that align with patients' functional goals, maximizing their potential for a full, independent life.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current, valid New Jersey physical therapy license in good standing.
  • Certified in CPR and basic life support.
