Position Overview

Spring Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote role. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive outpatient mental health services, including intakes, assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy to foster patient recovery.
• Develop personalized service plans and conduct regular reviews to ensure that the strategies in place are effectively meeting the needs of each client throughout their treatment journey.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with Federal, State, and organizational guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality and data security.
• Collaborate with external psychiatric care professionals to schedule appointments and develop seamless pathways for client care, especially for those requiring hospitalization.
• Prepare detailed reports for court proceedings, schools, and community agencies as needed, advocating effectively for client services and needs.
• Monitor and report any changes in patient conditions to psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, ensuring an integrated approach to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Possession of a current LMHC license issued by the state of Florida’s clinical therapy board is essential.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in counseling or mental health services is required.
• Strong understanding of legal guidelines governing psychiatric treatment and admission protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and make informed decisions on treatment plans while working both independently and collaboratively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and their families.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear interactions with all stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a community health setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage and document client information is advantageous.
• Competence in working with both general and severe mental health concerns, adapting therapeutic techniques to suit varying client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. In addition to competitive compensation, Spring Psychotherapy Center offers an attractive sign-on bonus, flexible work hours, and the opportunity to work in a supportive and progressive environment.
